Our Blown 540 cubic inch engine is another new addition to our 24° Conventional
chevy style head engine family. We start with a Dart Big M Block that is professionally machined and blueprinted. We install a 4340 Callies Crankshaft, 4340 Rods with ARP 2000 Bolts, JE Custom Pistons with
tool steel wrist pins, Clevite 77 bearings, Comp Cams proprietary hydraulic roller camshaft and hydraulic roller lifters. We install a set of Dart PRO 1 or Canfield 24° Aluminum heads with Manley Extreme Duty Inconel Valves and Comp Cams Valve Springs and hardware. We then set a 871 BDS blower package on top with two Holley 750 CFM Carburetors. This 540 Blown Pro Marine Engine runs on 93 octane pump gas with minimum boost for maximum performance.
